
Over the course of 20 years Victor Cruz has worked with some 25 companies providing PR services in the areas of media relations, customer, partner, and venture capital relations and a heavy emphasis on creative publicity campaigns. Prior to founding mediaPR.net, he was the Director of Media Initiatives at Fitzgerald Communications and before that, the PR manager at Sitara Networks, where he managed two PR agencies, Schwartz Communications and the Weber Group. Previously, he spent five years at Lois Paul & Partners, working on the Lotus/IBM account. Before that, he worked five years at the Interface Group (since acquired by Key3media). He has published articles in American Venture, Boston Business Journal, Contingency Planning & Management, Harvard Review and Wireless Business & Technology. He has a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Bennington College and received his BA in English from the University of Michigan in 1982.
Julie Lydon’s public relations career originated in August 1995 when she was at Boston-based Copithorne & Bellows, since acquired by Porter Novelli. She spent six years with Porter Novelli where she designed, managed and executed public relations strategies for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, BMC Software, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Battery Ventures. She has worked extensively in all areas of public relations including executive visibility programs, quarterly earnings announcements, corporate communications strategy, message development, competitive analysis, media/industry analyst relations, execution of major events, product announcements, product review programs, and speaking engagements.
Anna Choi has a colorful background, having traveled to 40 different countries and being comfortable in 7 languages, Anna's key strength lies in being able to communicate well with anyone. During the past 9 years, she has focused extensively on media relations where she has gained a reputation for building strong relationships with press and analysts. Anna masters technical aspects of products swiftly and can effectively translate them to the press. She teaches at Merrimack College and has conducted 8 years of archaeological excavations in Israel. During this time, she has researched, written and presented frequently. She has transferred these skills successfully to high-tech PR where she develops press releases and case studies, manages marketing communications projects and organizes press tours and events. Anna received a BA from Amherst College, a Masters degree from Yale and completed all Doctoral requirements at Boston University.
Jennifer Zucco’s PR experience started in Chicago where she worked on medical and marketing accounts at Marks Communications. She moved to managing PR, marketing and events for the Chicago Bar Association, coordinating and promoting some 100 seminars annually. She also produced internal employee newsletters. After moving to Boston, she worked for an agency servicing technology, manufacturing and sports psychology clients. Her ghost written articles have appeared in Sales & Marketing Strategies News, DM Review, Wireless Design & Development, Disaster Recovery Journal, Contingency Planning & Management, and others. She began her career as an assistant editor for Services Marketing Today, a publication of the American Marketing Association.
